The Faculty of Engineering and Architecture was established in 1970 as Eskişehir State Academy of Engineering and Architecture and started education with a total of 160 students in Mechanical and Civil Engineering Departments.
In 1982, it was attached to Anadolu University Faculty of Engineering and Architecture by the Higher Education Act 2547 then continued education on Bademlik Campus.
On August 18, 1993 Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Faculty of Arts and Sciences and the health-related structure of vocational schools are transferred to newly established Osmangazi University by the decree law no. 496 that was published in the Official Gazette no. 21672.
The university got the name of “Eskisehir Osmangazi University” with the Law no. 5379 dated July 1, 2005.
The Department of Architecture is located in Bademlik Campus and all other departments of the faculty are located in Meşelik Campus. Education is carried out in 11 departments out of 13 opened in our faculty.

The education language is English for the departments of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Aeronautical Engineering and partly English (30%) for the departments Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Architecture.
Erasmus+ Learning Mobility in the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture can be realized within the framework of the Extended Erasmus+ University Charter and existing inter-institutional agreements for Erasmus+ exchange. The departments in the Faculty have bilateral agreements with countries such as Romania, North Macedonia, Lithuania, Estonia, Slovenia, Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Croatia, Portugal, Italy, France, Germany, Slovenia, Portugal, Italy, France, Germany and Spain.
MÜDEK ACCREDITATION
The Department of Chemical Engineering has been accredited by MÜDEK (Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering Education Programs) with a validity period of 30.09.2023-30.09.2026 and has been given the EUR-ACE Label (Certificates). The EUR-ACE Label, which means European Accreditation for Engineering Programs, means that the department's program is a "European Accredited Engineering Program at Undergraduate Level".
