1. General Information
The Health Economics Thesis Master's Program, which was opened as an interdisciplinary under the roof of ESOGU Health Sciences Institute, is a program developed for policy making and examining the development potential of health, which is one of the important dimensions in the development processes of countries, from an interdisciplinary perspective. ESOGU Faculty of Medicine Department of Public Health, Department of Medical Pharmacology, ESOGU Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and ESOGU Faculty of Law, which has knowledge and experience in the program public health, health policies, pharmacology, economics, numerical and economic decision-making techniques, clinical and outcome research. will be conducted by faculty members. The Interdisciplinary Health Economics Master's Program, which is planned to be opened for the first time in the 2021-2022 academic year by the ESOGU Institute of Health Sciences; It aims to educate graduates who are well-equipped, who are increasingly lacking in our country, and who can interpret health and economics disciplines from a scientific, holistic and systematic perspective in order to respond to the fields and needs of health economics and policies.

4. Acceptance Requirements
In order to apply for the Master's program with thesis; Candidates in the country or abroad whose equivalence certificate has been accepted by the Higher Education Institution, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Pharmacy. and Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. Undergraduate Graduates must be graduates and have a postgraduate diploma. The candidate's Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Exam (ALES) score should be at least 55 Equal Weight, GPA should be at least 2.00/4.00, Foreign Language score should be at least 50 from YDS, e-YDS, YÖKDİL or equivalent exams required.
5. Acceptance of Former Educations
Students who are directly enrolled in the Master's program with thesis or who come with lateral transfer may be exempt from certain courses within the framework of certain regulations. In case the course content is approved by the relevant college/faculty/institute administrative board and applied within the prescribed time, students will be exempted from the courses.

In order to receive a Master's degree with Thesis, a Master's student with Thesis must complete at least seven courses, Seminar (60 ECTS), a total of course phase, and Master's Thesis (120 ECTS) during his education, not less than 21 credits. ) must be completed successfully.

15. Department Resources
Within the Department; There is a computer laboratory with 30 computers in it, which was established within the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences to be used in the Master's program with thesis. The computers in this laboratory are at a level to meet the needs of our students thanks to the researches to be done on the internet and the databases available in the library of our university, and they also include the databases that exist in the electronic environment. In the Martyr Ömer Halisdemir Library of our university, there are individual study rooms and a computer available for use in these rooms. These rooms are open between 08:30 and 23:00 on weekdays and between 09:00 and 23:00 on weekends.
