AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE PROGRAM
1.General Information
Eskişehir Osmangazi University Eskişehir Vocational School Aircraft Technology Program started accepting students in the 2021 academic year, and it is a department where approximately 45 students receive education annually. We aim to offer a high-quality training program to ensure that our graduates can find employment in the aviation industry at national and international levels.
Students graduating from the Aircraft Technology program, in line with the competencies they have gained, can work in departments related to manufacturing, maintenance-repair, project, planning, machine drawing, composite manufacturing and maintenance and construction in companies serving in the aviation sector.
2.Qualification
Students who complete the program are awarded an associate degree in Aircraft Technology.

4.Specific Admission Requirements
The Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) places students in the Aircraft Technology Program. Students are placed every year with the relevant score type within the quota specified in the guide. Students who choose to be the top student within the valedictorian quota are placed in order according to the relevant score type. According to the directory, some prerequisites for students enrolling in Aircraft Technology programs are required. Requirements for enrolling in Aircraft Technology programs:
1. It is necessary to obtain a committee report from a full-fledged hospital within the last six months, stating that no health problem would prevent the person from performing his profession and/or duty in the work. Especially vision loss/deficiency, colour blindness, hearing loss/lack of orthopaedic competence, etc.)
2. Since some practical courses in this program are held in the facilities of private and public aviation organizations, students who win this program should not have fair records.
5.Recognition of Prior Learning
Recognition of previous formal learning in Turkish Higher Education institutions, vertical, horizontal and university transfers, "Regulation on the Principles of Transfer Between Associate and Undergraduate Programs in Higher Education Institutions, Double Major, Minor and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer" determined by the Council of Higher Education. It is carried out within the scope of other relevant regulations.
In Turkey, an exemption exam is held at the beginning of each academic term for foreign language courses within the scope of recognition of certificate-based or experience-based learning outside formal education institutions. Students who take the exam and pass the exam are exempt from the relevant courses in the curriculum.
6.Qualification Requirements and Regulations
The student must have passed all the courses in the program and must not have an FF, DZ or YZ grade. In this program, the student must obtain a minimum of 120 ECTS credits and have a GPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00.
All students studying at Eskişehir Osmangazi University Aircraft Technology are obliged to intern for at least 20 working days during their 2-year education.
7.Program Profile
The main purpose of the Aircraft Technology Program is to train experts in the "Aircraft Technology" field who are qualified and equipped to work in all national and international companies in the sector. The main goal is to train aircraft technology technicians, who must closely follow the latest technical and scientific developments, as individuals who work and think in the light of scientific data at international standards, and to fill the gap in qualified manpower in this field.
Program Outcomes
· Know, understand and apply the basic principles, rules and laws of aircraft and aviation.
· To know and use the structural features of the aircraft and the tools and machines related to aircraft maintenance.
· Know and apply basic issues related to aircraft electronics
· Knows technical drawings and civil aviation rules.
· Know and apply standards related to aircraft maintenance and repair.
· Knows aircraft automatic control and command methods.
· Able to Use Electronic Materials and Make Basic Measurements by Ensuring Work Safety
· Know the aircraft's basic electrical-electronic systems and materials and perform fault analysis.
· Establishing a Business/Business (Prerequisite), Implementing Quality Assurance and Standards and being able to read, understand, write and speak English.
9.Occupational Profiles of Graduates
Graduates who receive the title of "Aircraft Technology Technician" can work as technical personnel in manufacturing companies in the aviation sector or in companies that carry out large-scale maintenance and repair. In line with the competencies they have gained, students They can also work in departments related to projects, planning, machine drawing and construction in companies serving in the aviation sector.
10.Access to Further Studies
Students who successfully complete the Aircraft Technology program can make vertical transfer to the undergraduate programs specified in the DGS guide.

12.Graduation Requirements
