General Information
The aim of the Primary School Teacher Education program is to provide lifelong learning students who are equipped with the knowledge, skills and abilities required by the teaching profession, who combine field experiences with theoretical education, who can create a correct model for their students in their personal and professional lives, who closely follow the developments in their field, who use their time efficiently and who have effective communication skills. To train qualified teachers who are conscious, sensitive to people, society and nature, and who can use information technologies effectively in all areas of life.
Degree Earned
Students who successfully complete the program are awarded a Bachelor's Degree in Classroom Teaching in the field of teaching profession.

Admission and Registration Conditions
General admission requirements for Turkish and foreign students are valid to start the program.
Recognition of Prior Learning
Recognition of previous formal learning in Turkish Higher Education institutions, vertical, horizontal and university transfers are carried out within the scope of the "Regulation on the principles of transfer between associate and undergraduate programs in higher education institutions, double major, minor and inter-institutional credit transfer" determined by the Council of Higher Education. .
In Turkey, exemption exams are held at the beginning of each academic term for some computer and foreign language courses within the scope of recognition of certificate-based or experience-based learning outside formal education institutions. Students who take the exam and pass the exam are exempt from the relevant courses in the curriculum.
Qualification Conditions and Rules
The student must have passed all the courses in the program and must not have an FF, DZ or YZ grade. In this program, the student must obtain a minimum of 240 ECTS credits and have a GPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00.

4. She / he understands the basic concepts of primary school teacher teaching and the relationships between concepts.

6. She/ he recognizes all kinds of developmental characteristics of primary school students, who are the target group of classroom teaching, and acts accordingly
7. She/he considers and respects the individual differences of students in the planning, implementation and evaluation of learning-teaching processes.

Employment Opportunities for Graduates
Students who complete the program have the opportunity to work in private and public schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education. In addition, candidates who have successfully completed their undergraduate education can become academicians by continuing their education in graduate programs in their field or related fields, provided that they receive valid scores from ALES (Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Examination) or equivalent exams and have sufficient foreign language knowledge.
Transition to Higher Degree Programs
Candidates who have successfully completed their undergraduate education can study postgraduate programs in their field or related fields, provided that they receive valid scores from ALES or equivalent exams and have sufficient foreign language knowledge.
